After a couple weeks of back to back Peace Corps meetings, seminars and Panamanian Carnival I am heading back to my community with some kind of parasite and lots of great memories! We had our regional meeting where I won Vice President of the Volunteer Advisory Committee for Peace Corps Panama. We followed that up with a Teacher Training Seminar and after that A Project Management and Leadership training with a community member. All went really well. I have lots of ideas and aspirations for my community and hope my community members are as excited as I am! A huge amount of volunteers traveled out for the festivities in the Azuero Peninsula for Carnival. It was a few days of ridiculousness. Water hoses, street food, loud music and lots of parades for the Queens. It was fun, eventful and luckily I left with all my belongings!! So overall, things are going well -- I am getting excited for Lettie Lou and Wild Bill to visit in a couple weeks! WOOHOO.
